FOSTERING SAVES LIVES

Thank you for considering fostering. You can help save the life of a homeless animal.

As a 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue, Tails of Mana could not continue to rescue any animals without people opening their hearts and homes.

Depending on your dog’s unique history, this might include working on socialization, house-training, leash training, basic manners, commands, and providing controlled and positive exposure to new things. Our fosters are encouraged to be patient and understanding.

We ask our fosters take lots of pictures and videos of their dog to help us promote them for their ideal home. We rely on fosters for health and behavior updates. Open, consistent, and clear communication from fosters is vital to successful permanent placement and your foster experience.  

Tails of Mana is responsible for all necessary vet expenses. We provide basic training, food, leashes, collars, bed, medicine, treats, monthly preventatives, and crates for our foster pups to borrow. If you have these supplies on hand, that’s wonderful and appreciated!  All supplies must be returned when your fostering period is over.

Fostering is one of the most rewarding volunteer experiences you will be a part of.  What you put in is what you get back.

Fostering has the potential to not only change the life of an animal but to change yours as well.
