Archer and Daisy are a bonded pair.
Two trained rescues that survived as puppies in the jungle of Uganda. Rescued by a Navy SEAL, brought to New York City and now San Diego.
Archer is ~ 7 years old. Part German Shepperd, part Ridgeback, part Basenji. Archer is 50lbs. and very intelligent. He was trained to patrol the SEAL camp in Africa and was used to find IED’s (improvised explosive devices, I.e.-bombs). He was so good at this, the EOD (explosive ordnance) guys had to make sure he was corralled during training because he’d find them in jiffy.
Archer is a true friend. He wants to hangout and be next to you at all times. He’s great with kids and other dogs.
Daisy was found a year later than Archer (also in Uganda). Daisy is ~ 6 years old and 60lbs. She is part Basenji and Ridgeback. Daisy is super chill and quite a princess. She loves cuddling, belly rubs, food, and gets really excited for walks.
They are good on walks and at the dog park with other dogs. They don’t like water or swimming but they will run around on dog beach. They both will run with you but Daisy is only good for about a mile.

I gave them a good life here but being in a demanding career with erratic travel schedule that has me gone for weeks at a time is not a great life for the dogs and stressful on me. I want them to go to a good home with people that have time to take care of them.
