Angus is a gentle giant.
He is goofy and loving, he loves pets, all the pets! Angus is extremely smart and can be stubborn about what he wants. He needs someone who will be patient and steadfast to help him learn how to be successful in his new home.
He is learning to be a part of a family and loving it. Angus was rescued from a backyard where he was a "pet" who never left the yard, never entered a home or slept on a couch, or was socialized in his lonely 7 years.
Angus would do best in a home as an only dog, or with another calm dog. He gets along very well with cats. He has been very gentle and loving to the calm 10 year old child living in his foster home.
He is learning what toys are for, mostly he just hoards them in his kennel. He never had a toy in his previous life.
Angus is still learning to be on a leash and can be a bit fearful until he trusts you. Angus is an amazing and loving dog, still learning to be a dog in a loving home.
In the short time that he has been in foster care, he has learned to trust, love and be part of a family. He is learning to get along with his much younger foster fur brother, and he is starting to enjoy puppy play time, now that he knows what being around another dog is like.
